Munjya box office: Munjya’s earnings crossed 100 crores, but now big trouble is coming

The film ‘Munjya’ of the ‘Stree’ universe has finally crossed the 100 crore mark by moving like a tortoise. Made at a cost of only 30 crores, this film has earned a great profit at the box office. For this low-budget film, it was thought that he might not be able to do anything special but Dinesh Vijan once again proved that he is the true master of horror comedy in the industry. The big thing is that this film has touched the 100 crore mark at a time when Karthik Aaryan’s film ‘Chandu Champion’ was also present at the box office.

Sharwari Wagh, Abhay Verma and Mona Singh starrer horror comedy film ‘Munjya’ released in theaters on 7 June and received a rating of 7.3 on IMDb. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, everything from the songs to the story was a hit. Many people even went to watch the film because of its connection with Stree-2 and Varun Dhawan’s Bhedia. Talking about the earnings, Sacnilk has revealed the figures and said that it has become the 7th film of the year 2024 to earn 100 crores.

According to the report, Munjya has grossed Rs 98 crore 35 lakh in India and earned Rs 4 crore 25 lakh from other countries. In this way, the total box office collection of the film has become 102 crore 60 lakh rupees. Apart from this, this has become the second film in the horror comedy universe of Maddock Films to touch the Rs 100 crore mark in terms of earnings. Earlier, Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s film ‘Stri’ managed to achieve this feat.

This film may be difficult for Munjya

The film’s net collection in India so far is Rs 83 Crore 90 Lakh and this figure may reach 90 Crore by next Friday, but there is a big problem with Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan’s Kalki 2898 AD. Because this mega budget film is going to release this Friday. Now it remains to be seen how the film will fare at the box office and how long it will take to recover its cost. Now the makers of Munjya are in trouble.
