Mother-son relationship is one of the most sacred relationships in the world. Any mother goes to any extent for the happiness of her children. In a post on Reddit, the woman wrote that she has been married to her husband for nine years. Meanwhile, her mother-in-law also lives with her. But after her mother-in-law’s recent actions, the woman broke down and took to social media to share what she really likes about her mother-in-law in her life. The woman said that I am always uncomfortable with the way my mother-in-law talks to my husband. Sometimes she comments on ‘what a sexy’ man my husband is, sometimes she compliments his skin and body composition. However, the situation took a turn for the worse when the woman’s mother-in-law asked her son to stay with her as she was not having a good day.
The woman continued, “As we lay on our bed, we heard someone crying, as if they had lost their child, or something terrible had happened. We immediately got up from the bed and opened the door, and found it was my mother-in-law, who was crying profusely. In such a situation when my husband asked her, ‘What happened?’ ‘What’s going on?’ My mother-in-law’s response to this was mind-blowing. Responding to her son and my husband, she said, ‘Today was a very bad day for me.’ Then she asked my husband, ‘Can you sleep with me so I can hold you and smell your hair?’ Hearing this, the woman was shocked. She said it was very strange. I couldn’t believe it. I asked myself, am I drunk?
The woman further stated that she does not live with her mother-in-law. He keeps coming and going home as per his will. Her mother-in-law gets very upset whenever she comes home. He shared the entire incident on Reddit to seek advice. However, the woman did not reveal her identity. Many people have responded to the woman on this. A user wrote that if you don’t have children then you should stay away from your mother-in-law with your husband for some time. If he refuses, you should walk away from him, because people do not recover easily from this level of psychological abuse.
