Namibia beat Oman to create history, something a team like West Indies-New Zealand couldn’t do

Namibia did something amazing with this one. Which even a team like West Indies-New Zealand has not been able to do till today. In fact, he scored the highest score in a super over in the T20 World Cup.

Namibia scored 21 runs in the super over thanks to the brilliant batting of David VJ and captain Gerhard Iremus. No team has been able to score 21 runs in a Super Over of the T20 World Cup till date. A total of 3 Super Overs have been played so far in the T20 World Cup including Namibia and Oman. But no team could make such a big score. The first Super Over was played between New Zealand and Sri Lanka in 2012. Batting first, Sri Lanka scored 13 runs. New Zealand could score only 7 runs.

At the same time, the second Super Over also took place in the year 2012 itself. New Zealand and West Indies teams faced each other in this Super Over. Batting first, West Indies scored 19 runs. While the New Zealand team could score only 17 runs. Thus, 21 runs is the highest score in T20 World Cup history so far.
