But in a recent interview, the actor spoke about his first meeting with his wife, the death of his elder son and the one thing his sister told him that turned his life around. Shocked by son’s death
Nana Patekar made many big revelations related to his life in an interview given to Lalantop. The actor revealed how he was in trouble after the birth of his elder son and eventually left this world. The son had problem in one eye. Nana Patekar said- I started hating my son so much that whenever I saw him, I wondered what people would think about the kind of son Nana had. I didn’t think about what he must be feeling. I always wondered what people would think of my son. His name was Durvasa. He spent two and a half years with us but what can you do. Some things in life are already decided. The actor said that he named his son after the angry sage Durvasa.
The sister said something
The actor further revealed that there was a time when he used to smoke 60 cigarettes a day. Even while taking a bath, he had a cigarette in his hand. People didn’t want to get into his car because it smelled of cigarette smoke. But a line from his sister helped him get rid of his bad habit. The sister who lost her only son. Nana said- My sister saw me coughing after smoking. He said what else do you want to see?’ After hearing this, Nana did not touch the cigarette.
