Neeraj Chopra, who had his best performance of the season in Round-3, played his dunk in the final as well and tied shooter Abhinav Bindra by winning the gold medal.

At the same time, in 2008, he won an Olympic gold medal in the individual event, becoming the first Indian to achieve this feat. Now Neeraj Chopra has also repeated history. Neeraj Chopra became the second Indian to win an individual gold medal at the Olympics and World Championships. He faced Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem in the final.
