NEET: 10 rules including NEET exam tomorrow, ban on shoes, what is dress code, when to get entry, know document list.

NEET UG 2024 Dress Code, Guidelines: Medical Entrance Exam NEET will be conducted tomorrow on 5th May 2024 in 571 cities across the country in pen paper mode. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will also conduct the exam in offline mode in 14 cities outside India. The exam will be conducted in 13 languages ​​from 2 pm to 5.20 pm. A total of 23,81,833 candidates have registered for the NEET UG exam this year. It includes more than 10 lakh male and more than 13 lakh female candidates. Besides, 24 people have registered under third gentleman category. Of the total enrolled students, more than 10 lakh belong to OBC NCL category, 06 lakh belong to General category, 3.5 lakh belong to Scheduled Caste (SC) category, 1.8 lakh belong to Gen-EWS category and 1.5 lakh belong to ST category. . Through NEET, admissions to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and various other undergraduate medical courses are conducted in all medical colleges of the country. Apart from this, candidates for Military Nursing Service (MNS) can also take admission in B.Sc Nursing course of Armed Forces Medical Service Hospital through NEET UG exam marks.

Know here what are the rules and guidelines related to NEET

1. NEET Dress Code
, Neat Giving boys should wear half sleeve shirt or t-shirt. Come wearing simple pants. Pants may have pockets. Do not wear clothes with many chains and large buttons.
– Students are not allowed to wear shoes. They are allowed to wear only slippers or sandals. Women may come wearing low-heeled sandals.
– Wearing jewelery is also prohibited. Wearing sunglasses, watch or cap is not allowed to sit in the exam.
– Do not bring hair bands, amulets, belts, scarves, rings, bangles, ear drops, nose cloves, necklaces, badges, wrist watches, bracelets, earrings, metal objects.

2. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without admit card, self declaration, photo ID proof, frisking.

3. If the candidates are wearing cultural, traditional dress, articles related to faith or religion, they have to report for search at the examination center at least one and half hour before the reporting time i.e. by 12.30 pm.

4. Only these items are allowed in NEET
Apart from their NEET admit card, candidates should also bring original Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID or any other photo ID proof. Bring a passport size photograph on the admit card.
– Please bring a passport size photograph to affix on the attendance sheet. The background of the photo should be white.
– Paste the post card size 4*6 photograph in the downloaded form along with the admit card. This has to be given to the invigilator in the exam hall.
– Candidates who do not bring one passport size (4X6) photograph pasted on the downloaded proforma along with the admit card will not be allowed admission.
Candidates may carry one transparent water bottle.
– 50 ml bottle of hand sanitizer

5.- Self-declaration form and undertaking form should also be brought along with the NEET admit card. It should be full.

6. No entry after 1.30 pm
The exam will start from 2 pm. Entry will be given only half an hour earlier i.e. till 1.30 pm. Candidates arriving after 1.30 pm will not be admitted.

7. Bring only blue or black ballpoint pen to write the exam.

8. These items are strictly prohibited
– Electronic devices of any kind will not be allowed. Mobile phones, bluetooth, microphones, calculators, electronic gadgets, geometry or pencil boxes, watches are not allowed.
– No food items are allowed inside the examination centre.
– You will not be allowed to wear jewelery in the examination hall.

9. This year also NEET paper will be of 720 marks only. One question will carry four marks. There will be negative marking. One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. There will be 35 questions in Section A and 15 questions in Section B in four subjects Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Any 10 out of 15 questions are to be attempted.

10. NEET result will be declared on 14 June 2024.
