NEET UG RE-EXAM: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notification regarding the re-examination to be held on June 23, 2024 for 1,563 students, the results of which may be declared on June 30, 2024.

NEET UG re-examination will be conducted for the students who have been given grace marks by NTA. Let us tell you that NEET (UG) 2024 was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for more than 24 lakh students at 4,750 centers in 571 cities (including 14 cities abroad). The exam results were declared on June 4, in which 67 students were given rank 1 and two students were given 718 and 719 marks. Protests started across the country after the results were announced. After which the matter reached the Supreme Court.

After the decision of the Supreme Court, the grace marks given to 1563 students have been cancelled, now these students will have to take the exam again. Let us tell you that students will be given the option of re-examination. NTA will contact those students through email. A bench of Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Sandeep Mehta heard the case.

Who will appear in the exam?

The NEET UG result was expected to be declared on June 14, but NTA declared the result only on June 4 as the evaluation of answer sheets was completed earlier. Let us inform you that the scorecards of all 1,563 students issued on June 4, 2024 will be canceled and withdrawn so that grace marks can be removed. A re-examination will be conducted for these 1,563 students. However, these students will have the option whether they want to take the exam or not. If any of these students do not appear in the examination, their NEET UG marks will be considered final without grace marks.
