There are about 1350 seats in government medical colleges in Bihar. 15 of these seats go to the central quota. This will result in registration of more marks here. About 1051 admissions will take place in 85 seats in Bihar.

NEET UG paper is of 720 marks. This time the rank of students who have secured more than 650 marks has crossed 30 thousand. Gol Institute Assistant Director Ranjay Singh says that students who have scored up to 655 marks are likely to get MBBS seats in Bihar this time.

In fact, to get a seat in a government medical college, the NEET cutoff will also be higher than before. Last year in Bihar, the last MBBS seat was awarded to general category students with All India Rank 18058 (marks 620), while this time even those who scored 650 are finding it difficult to get MBBS seats. This time 1,54,461 students were registered from Bihar, out of which 1,49,542 students appeared for the exam. 74743 students have qualified. While 74,799 have failed. That means the failed student did not get even 164 marks. In 2023 the AIR rank of 620 marks was 18058, while this time the AIR rank of 630 marks is 48600.

Along with this, the students have also alleged a scam in the result.
