Raid on NTA office

Congress student body NSUI and its workers also barged into the Delhi office of NTA on Thursday evening and created ruckus by occupying it for some time. Protesters carrying posters were seen occupying the office premises. The posters read, “No More Corrupt NTA”, while some chanted “Stop NTA, Stop it”. However, the protest ended after some time. The mob dispersed shortly after the arrival of the police force.

Controversy of NEET exam

About 24 lakh students appeared for the NEET exam on May 5 for admission to medical. But as soon as the results came out, the students started uproar. This year a record 67 students have topped with 720 marks. The NTA also came under the scanner for awarding grace marks to 1,563 students. After which the Supreme Court ordered to conduct the exam again. A large number of arrests have been made in this case in Bihar, Maharashtra and Delhi, now the CBI has taken over the investigation. Sources in the agency told NDTV that a country-wide corruption racket may be involved.
