NEET PG New Date: The National Board of Examinations for Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is expected to announce the examination date for the National Eligibility Entrance Test, Post Graduate (NEET PG) next week. The decision was taken after a meeting between NBEMS officials and the Union Health Ministry to assess the situation and provide feedback to the government. Following the NEET UG exam leak controversy, NBEMS canceled the NEET PG 2024 exam just 12 hours before the scheduled date of June 23.
Let us inform you that the NEET PG 2024 exam was initially scheduled to be held on March 3, but then it was postponed to July 7. However, the National Medical Commission (NMC) postponed the exam to June 23 due to the Rath Yatra schedule. After the NEET UG controversy, the exam was canceled once again.
The NBEMS president asserted that the integrity of the NEET-PG examination was never in question. Earlier, the National Board of Examination for Medical Sciences (NBEMS) announced a change in the exam mode for NEET PG 2024. NEET PG is a computer based exam. The exam will be conducted in online mode. Candidates can take the exam in English medium only. This exam is divided into three sections. Candidates will be given 3 hours 30 minutes time for this. The medical entrance exam consists of 200 multiple choice questions for 800 marks. Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer and negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer.
