The NEET scam is being linked to a hostel in Patna. A bike was found parked in a hostel located in Khemnichak which was raided by a team of Patna police. On that bike was written the name of the same hostel in Pirbahore police station area, where some of the students staying were also involved in the NEET rigging. Fugitive Sanjeev and Rauki belong to the same hostel.
When the police asked the arrested Nitish and Amit Anand about the bike parked in front of the hostel at Khemnichak in Ramakrishnanagar, they said it belonged to a friend of theirs. The police did not find the bike when they checked in front of the hostel at Khemnichak. Accused’s cousins took him away. The names of the boys from that hostel have come up in many scams. Investigation of 17 mobile numbers SIT is investigating 17 mobile numbers. All the numbers are linked to fugitive mafia Sanjeev Singh and his Sagarit Rauki. His call detail record is being scrutinized. Their location is also being checked during NEET.
Sanjeev has also rigged the UP Police exam.
The gang involved in NEET rigging has also committed malpractices in the UP Police recruitment exam. Shubham Mandal, who lives with Sanjeev’s son, is lodged in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut jail in this case. In March, Meerut Unit of Uttar Pradesh STF arrested Dr. Mandal House in Adarsh Colony, Danapur. Shubham Mandal was arrested. It is alleged that he flew to Ahmedabad, Gujarat on February 5 and 8 to leak the question paper. In this mess, the police team arrested Ravi Atri, a resident of Noida, Rajeev Nayan, Ankit Mishra, a resident of Prayagraj and Delhi Police Havildar Vikram Pahl, a resident of Haryana. Shubham’s name came to the fore after the arrest of these three.
Many cases have been registered against Sanjeev Kumar.
A special team of Patna Police reached Noorsarai Garden College on Tuesday. Scrutinized the documents related to Sanjeev Kumar, Technical Assistant there. Documents related to Sanjeev Kumar were sought from the Principal Incharge and Accountant. Asked for photocopy of service book and accounting statement of property. Some officials of EOU were also present. The team did not receive any specific information. But, photocopy of service book and grade pay information were found. It is stated that Sanjeev Kumar is posted in the college on grade pay of Rs.4200. He might be getting a salary of less than one lakh. EOU inspectors Vinay Krishna and Rajeev Kumar were also part of the team. A case has been registered in Shastrinagar police station.
