NEET UG Paper Leak 2024: Solvers caught from Patna and Ranchi in NEET-UG exam have started connecting with Darbhanga as well. Following the arrest of several members of the Solver gang in Ranchi, the police also swung into action in Patna on Sunday and arrested several Munnabhais based on an intelligence report.
A solver gang was busted at several centers during biometric verification in Ranchi. During interrogation, a solver who came to take the exam in place of a student from Patna told the police that he was a second year student of Darbhanga Medical College.
A student from Patna was lured to pay Rs 5 lakh to appear in the exam. However, the police there are investigating based on the student’s confession.
It is said that the Solver gang was operating from Bihar Sharif. Patna and Ranchi police are investigating the entire matter. Darbhanga Medical College Principal Dr. K.N. Mishra said that he had not been given any information that even one of the arrested students was from here. If anyone’s involvement is revealed, necessary action will be taken.
The NEET UG exam was conducted on May 5 at a total of 4750 centers in 571 cities (14 cities abroad) On the day of the exam, a wrong question paper was released by the superintendent at Kanya Uchtar Madhyamik Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Mantown.
