The Economic Offenses Unit of Bihar Police, which is probing the NEET paper leak case, has not received a copy of the original question paper of the exam from the National Testing Agency. Due to which the investigation cannot proceed. EOU sent reminders thrice to NTA but copy of question paper was not provided. The investigating officer is shocked about this. The paper leak case is being reinvestigated for not helping the investigation process. Officials had sent a reminder three days ago but many questions are being raised as the copy is not received. In fact, on May 5, police recovered charred remains of NEET questions and answers from the rented flat of arrested accused Amit Anand and Nitish in AG Colony in Patna.

The EOU team is seeking the NEET question paper from the NTA, so that it can be matched with the question paper received from the accused. It should be forensically investigated. The EOU believes that only a forensic investigation will reveal whether the burnt question papers were genuine.

A questionnaire has been prepared for questioning the candidates

According to EOU sources, the question paper has been prepared to ask 9 candidates separately on June 18-19. It is learned that all these nine candidates have been summoned for questioning by sending a notice to the EOU. In this case, four examinees and six examinees mafia have been remanded and questioned.

Dharmendra Pradhan will not be released if the officer is found guilty

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has come down hard on malpractices in NEET and said that the National Testing Agency (NTA) needs major reforms. He assured the students and parents that the government is concerned about the matter and has taken it seriously. There may also be many improvements in the functioning of NTA in the coming days.
