NEET-UG: Amid the NEET UG exam controversy, the Supreme Court has adjourned for two weeks a plea accusing the NTA of tampering with OMR sheets. The petition was heard before a vacation bench of Justice CT Ravikumar and Justice Manoj Mishra. Commenting on the matter, the court has said that NTA will not conduct NEET retest for any person. In fact, the petitioner, who had alleged manipulation of the OMR sheet, was seeking permission from the Supreme Court to appear in the NEET retest on June 23.

In this petition, the counsel for the applicant appearing for the medical entrance examination has alleged that his OMR sheet was altered. The bench told the counsel that the petitioner is seeking permission to appear in the re-examination to be held on June 23, when the NEET UG retest has already been conducted. The court also said that if you are thinking that there will be a NEET retest for a single person, give up hope.
