No to Jinping, but 2800 km away, yes to Putin, what’s going on in Modi’s mind? The dragon also began to think

New Delhi: If India befriends someone it keeps it till the end. As beautiful as India’s friendship is, its enmity is equally dangerous. Russia is in trouble because of the Ukraine war. Western countries including America are protecting it. Western powers are trying to isolate Russia in the Ukraine war. But Russia’s eternal friend is with her even in her difficult times. Name Bharat. Yes, India maintained friendship even when the West imposed sanctions on Russia during the Ukraine war. Even when Russia was being cracked down on in international forums, India supported Russia. Now that most countries are shunning Putin after the war between Ukraine and Russia, India has once again shown that we are with you dude. Yes, Narendra Modi, who is becoming the Prime Minister for the third time, is going to Moscow to meet his friend Putin. PM Modi was also scheduled to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping in Uzbekistan. But he said no to Xi Jinping. Now he will travel 2800 kilometers away to meet Putin alone. It is very interesting to know why PM Modi took such a decision now.

In fact, PM Modi is going to visit Russia next month. PM Modi is on his way to Moscow for the India-Russia Annual Summit. However, the dates have not been announced yet. According to media reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in the second week of July and also hold the annual India-Russia Summit talks. It may be noted here that PM Modi is going to Moscow to meet Putin for the first time after the Russia-Ukraine war. This visit of PM Modi is taking place at a time when Russia and Ukraine are burning in the flames of war for the last two and a half years. India has been on the side of peace since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine war. India has said that peace can be restored and war can end only through dialogue. This is the reason why recently India participated in the Ukraine Peace Summit in Switzerland. However, India questioned Russia’s absence from the summit and refused to sign a document related to Ukraine peace. Even though India has been advocating peace in the Russia-Ukraine war. But India has never said good or bad about its friend Russia. However, Modi certainly taught his friend Putin a lesson in peace and asked him to settle the matter peacefully.

Modi will go to Moscow to meet Putin
The friendship between Putin and Russia is very important to Modi. If PM Modi had wanted, he could have met Putin at the SCO summit in Kazakhstan next month. But the PM has a bigger plan in mind. He will go to Russia and meet Putin, to send a message to the world that India does not change its friendship or enmity under pressure. Modi has another motive behind going to Russia to meet Putin. In the last few days, Putin and Xi Jinping have grown closer. In such a situation, PM Modi wants to tell Xi Jinping that the friendship between India and Russia is unbreakable. China has no place in this friendship. China has been constantly targeting Russia since the Ukraine war. This is the reason why Putin visited China after becoming President for the fifth time. Modi is trying to cut the string of that kite. The upcoming meeting between Modi and Putin will definitely hurt China. The reason is that Modi will not meet Xi Jinping, but will travel to Kazakhstan, about 2800 kilometers away, and meet Putin in Moscow.

Modi will not attend the SCO summit
Actually the meeting of SCO i.e. Shanghai Cooperative Organization is going to be held in Kazakhstan in the first week of July. Earlier there were news that PM Modi will attend this summit. But now it is being claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not attend the SCO summit to be held in Astana on July 3-4. It is being said that China and Pakistan are the reason. Xi Jinping and Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif will participate in this summit. PM Modi has stayed away from the summit due to the dispute with China and the issue of terrorism with Pakistan. If PM Modi wanted, he could have met Putin in Astana itself. But he thought it best to devote time to his friend. Anyway, Russia had been calling PM Modi for a long time. A session of Parliament is also being given reason for not participating in the SCO Summit. Modi has become the PM for the third consecutive time. In such a situation, the Parliament session is more important for them.

Friendship between India and Russia and tension between China
India supported Russia fearlessly when sanctions were imposed during the Ukraine war. India bought oil from them when there was no one to buy oil from. This helped Russia fight the Ukraine war. Russia has been India’s largest supplier of defense equipment. However, in recent years, India has signed multi-billion dollar defense deals with European countries, including the US, in an effort to enhance and diversify its capabilities. Bilateral trade between India and Russia is increasing. There has been a significant increase since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war, reaching record highs. Trade between India and Russia has reached close to 50 billion dollars. This became possible because Russian oil and fertilizers were supplied to India at concessional rates. Now that PM Modi and Putin are going to meet once again, China’s tension is bound to increase. Instead of going to the SCO summit, PM Modi himself wants to give a strategic signal to China.
