Indian team has reached Super 8 of T20 World Cup 2024. Apart from India, three other teams have also qualified for the Super 8 from their respective groups. Thus, one team each from the four groups has managed to make it to the Super 8 so far, while one team each from Group A, B, C and D has yet to make it to the Super 8. Before this, know how the schedule of Team India will be. It has also been announced that India and Australia will meet in Super 8, but one thing has also been decided that India will not have to face West Indies and South Africa in Super 8.
In fact, the ICC prioritized the Super 8 to 8 major teams as to which team should play which match at which time. The ICC seeded two teams from each group before the tournament. Team India will be considered as A1 from Group A while England will be considered as B1 from Group B. Also, New Zealand from Group C will be considered as C1 and South Africa from Group D as D1. Similarly A2 from Pakistan, B2 from Australia, C2 from West Indies and D2 from Sri Lanka will be considered. However, this will only happen if these teams qualify for the Super 8. If any other team from these groups qualifies, it will be replaced by another team.
In this situation Team India is A1. Schedule of T20 matches of A1 team World Cup For 2024, Team India will play its first match on June 20 and the second match on June 22. Meanwhile, the team will play its third and final Super 8 match on June 24. The match on 24th June is the final, as Australia got B2 status, India will face Australia on 24th June. Apart from this, India could face Afghanistan on June 20, as the C1 ranked New Zealand team has less than 1 percent chance of reaching the Super 8s. At the same time, India’s match on June 22 could be against Bangladesh or the Netherlands instead of Sri Lanka.

June 22 – India vs Bangladesh or Netherlands – 10:30 AM in Antigua (8 PM in India)
June 24 – India vs Australia – 10:30 AM in St Lucia (8 PM in India)
