The poster was tweeted by senior film trade analyst Atul Mohan on his X (Twitter) handle. The poster features the film’s title, tricolor and a dialogue. The popular dialogue in the first part i.e. ‘Ma Tuze Salaam’ (2002) was ‘Doodh Mangege to Kheer Denge, Kashmir Mangege to Chir Denge’. However, the poster of Ma Tuze Salaam 2 takes this dialogue a step further. It has been said that, ‘If you ask for milk, you will give pudding, if you ask for Kashmir, we will take away Lahore too’. Although the star cast has not been announced but it is expected that Sunny Deol, who was a part of the first part, will also be a part of the sequel.

Apart from Sunny Deol, Ma Tuze Salaam also featured Arbaaz Khan and Tabu. It is the story of Major Pratap Singh (Sunny Deol) stationed in Kashmir who is fighting the enemy across the border. Ma Tuze Salaam was released on 25 January 2002, a day before Republic Day and about six months after Ghadar – Ek Prem Katha (2001). This was the reason why this film also proved to be a blockbuster. Now it is to be seen whether Maa Tuze Salaam 2 will have Sunny Deol from start to finish and other actors will be roped in. Apart from this, the poster of Maa Tuze Salaam 2 has only the name of producer Mahendra Dhariwal. The name of the director has not been announced yet.
