The latest figures from the Election Commission show that the BJP is leading in 74 seats. BJP is close to majority in Odisha. For the first time, BJP has got majority in this state. According to the trends, Biju Janata Dal is second with a lead of 58 seats. Currently, the Congress is leading in 14 seats and the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) is leading in one seat, while independent candidates are also leading in two seats.
