“One earth, one family and one future requires everyone’s support”: PM Modi at BRICS summit

Johannesburg:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 15th BRICS Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa on Wednesday. Meanwhile, PM Modi said, “To make BRICS a future-ready organization, we have to future-proof our respective societies. Technology will play an important role in this.” PM Modi said, “We are working with all countries for one earth, one family and one future. We have suggested permanent membership of G-20 to the African Union. This will boost their confidence. We support the expansion of BRICS.

PM Modi said, “It is a pleasure for me and my delegation to come once again to a beautiful city like Johannesburg. The city has a deep and old connection with Indians and Indian history. Not far from here is the Tolstoy Farm, built by Mahatma Gandhi 110 years ago. Mahatma Gandhi laid a solid foundation for our unity and harmony by uniting the great ideas of India, Eurasia and Africa.”

PM Modi met President Ramaphosa
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President Ramaphosa on the second day of his visit to South Africa. A bilateral meeting was held between the two leaders. After PM Modi’s address, other leaders will also give a statement. BRICS leaders will also hold a joint press conference after the summit.

Investors from BRICS countries should invest in India
Earlier on Tuesday, the BRICS Business Forum was held. In which PM Modi gave a speech of about 3 minutes. PM said – “India is at the top in terms of digital transactions.
