A video of Mumbai Indians star batsman Rohit Sharma is going viral on social media on Friday, in which he is seen asking the cameraman to mute the audio. Meanwhile, he pleaded with the cameraman with folded hands. In fact, before the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians on May 11, Rohit Sharma had a long talk with Kolkata Knight Riders assistant coach Abhishek Nair, the video of which was shared by KKR but has since been deleted. However, the video has gone viral on social media and it is being claimed that Rohit does not want to stay with Mumbai and wants to represent Kolkata.

After this video went viral, KKR CEO Venky Mysore himself gave a statement on the issue and denied it. “I spoke to both of them and they are very old friends and were talking about something different on the field,” he said. However, after the video went viral, there was a huge uproar and people started speculating that Rohit might leave Mumbai and join Kolkata next year.

Meanwhile, a video of Rohit Sharma has surfaced on social media on Friday, in which he is asking the cameraman to switch off the audio. Rohit told the cameraman, “Bro, turn off the audio, here Rohit Sharma was talking about the viral video in which it was claimed that Rohit is going to Mumbai from Kolkata.

It may be noted that before IPL 2024, Mumbai Indians removed Rohit Sharma from the captaincy. In his place, the franchise has appointed Hardik Pandya as the new captain of the team. Under Rohit’s captaincy, the Mumbai team became champions five times and Rohit’s removal from the captaincy in this manner angered the fans and caused Hardik to be humiliated during several matches.
