Pleasant weather in Delhi, respite from heatwave, Meteorological department said on which day monsoon will knock

Rain in many parts of Delhi on Friday brought some relief from the scorching heat. Due to the change in the weather on Friday, there has been a lot of relief from the heatwave and oppressive heat conditions that have been going on in Delhi for the last 12 days. After this, even on Saturday morning, Delhi’s atmosphere remained cheerful. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Delhi could go up to 41 degrees Celsius on Saturday, which could touch 43 degrees Celsius.

Southwest Monsoon has advanced over parts of Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, North West Bay of Bengal, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Bihar. The northern limit of monsoon is now passing through Amravati, Gondia, Durg, Rampur (Kalahandi), Malda, Bhagalpur and Raxaul. During next 3-4 days North Arabian Sea, Gujarat State, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, North West Bay of Bengal, parts of Ganga, rest of sub-Himalayan West Bengal, parts of Jharkhand, parts of Bihar, parts of Andhra Pradesh and parts of East Uttar Pradesh. South-West Monsoon likely to advance at parts. It is also likely to reach central India and some more parts of northwest India (including the western Himalayan region) between June 28 and 30.

Chance of rain in most parts of the country from June 27 to July 3

According to the Meteorological Department report, under favorable monsoon conditions between June 27 and July 3, rainfall activity is likely to be above normal over most parts of the country except the Western Himalayan region and West Rajasthan. Southwest Monsoon is likely to advance over rest of central India and rest of northwest India during the week.

Heavy rain warning for 3 days in coastal Karnataka

In Karnataka, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rain for three days from Saturday in all coastal areas including Mangaluru, Dakshina Kannada district, Udupi and Uttara Kannada district. The Meteorological Department issued a statement on Thursday evening saying that very heavy rainfall ranging from 64.5 mm to 204.4 mm is likely over the entire coastal areas of Karnataka, including Mangaluru in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada districts.
