17th installment sent from Varanasi
In fact, Prime Minister Modi visited his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on Tuesday. This is his first visit to Varanasi after becoming the Prime Minister for the third consecutive term. During this period, PM Modi provided Rs. 9.26 crore beneficiary farmers. Installments of over 20,000 crores have been issued.

Scheme details
PM-KISAN is a Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) initiative launched in the year 2019. Under this, to meet their financial needs, the beneficiary farmers will receive an annual amount of Rs. 6,000 is given. Since the inception of the scheme, the Center has disbursed over Rs 3 lakh crore to over 11 crore farmers across the country.

Registration process of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is simple. You can register yourself online by visiting the official portal http://pmkisan.gov.in. Farmers can also approach the local Patwari/Revenue Officer/Nodal Officer nominated by the State Government for registration under PM-Kisan. Special facilities for registration through Kisan Corner, CSC and Mobile App have been launched on PM-Kisan portal.
