PM meets BAPS delegation in Johannesburg

New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met BAPAC representatives during his visit to South Africa. The representatives gave an update showing photographs and a 3D model of the BAPS Sri Swaminarayan Hindu Temple and Cultural Complex under construction in Johannesburg. Prime Minister praised BAPS.

Swamiji of BAPS told the Prime Minister that the temple under construction will fulfill the cultural and spiritual needs of present and future generations and will be a symbol of inspiration, service and harmony for people of all faiths.

The Prime Minister appreciated the initiative taken by the BAPS volunteers to preserve the culture and values ​​and further strengthen India-South Africa ties with the temple.

After the meeting, BAPS representatives explained the temple project in detail to the summit attendees and also shared the temple’s role in community-building. He expressed his appreciation for this unique project in Africa.
