The weather of capital Delhi has become enchanting. After facing the heat for many days, the people of Delhi have got relief. However, monsoon has not yet arrived here. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has predicted a heatwave in many parts of the country, including western Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. As of Friday, the heat wave continues in West Uttar Pradesh, while people in Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Jharkhand are yet to get relief.

Many cases of heat stroke are increasing

Today, the maximum temperature ranges between 40–42 °C in parts of western Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh; Heat wave has also increased in Haryana-Delhi and isolated parts of Gujarat state. The Meteorological Department has warned that cases of heat stroke will increase in many areas.

Monsoon may knock

According to the Meteorological Department, between June 27 and July 3, Monsoon will hit most parts of Central India and North-West India. After rains in Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon on Friday, people got some relief. But now people have to wait more for monsoon.

Chance of rain in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is likely in Bihar, Jharkhand, Goa and Arunachal Pradesh in the coming days.

Let us tell you that the temperature has also decreased in the rest of the Central and East North including Delhi-NCR. According to the Meteorological Department, Monsoon is likely to reach central and east-northern parts in the next 3-4 days. Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim are likely to receive rain on June 24 and 25. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in various parts of Nagaland and Manipur.

At the same time, some parts of North Arabian Sea, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand and Bihar may also witness weather changes. While many parts of western Uttar Pradesh are predicted to experience heat wave in the next few days.

Arrival of Monsoon in South Bengal

The Southwest Monsoon officially hit parts of South West Bengal on Friday, though most parts of the region remained rain-free. The Meteorological Department has given this information. The Meteorological Department said the monsoon has reached across North Bengal, where it has been receiving heavy rains for the past few days.

It said the monsoon has covered Kolkata, North and South 24 Parganas, Nadia, Murshidabad and some parts of Hooghly, Howrah, East Bardhaman and Birbhum districts of South Bengal. Barring the coastal areas of South 24 Parganas and East Medinipur district, most parts of South Bengal did not receive rain despite the official arrival of Southwest Monsoon.

The maximum day temperature in South Bengal has dropped by about three to four degrees Celsius. The weather department said that conditions are favorable for monsoon to advance over more parts of South Bengal in the next three to four days.
