Ramlala will be consecrated in Ayodhya between January 16 and 24: Champat Rai

The sanctum sanctorum of the grand Sri Ram Janmabhoomi temple under construction in Ayodhya is ready and after the completion of the first floor construction, Ramlala will be consecrated between January 16 and 24 after Makar Sankranti next year. Ram Mandir Teertha Kshetra Trust General Secretary Champat Rai, who reached here on Sunday, met Santo and briefed him about the progress of the temple construction and also invited him to attend the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ramlala at the temple. He said that the dream of crores of Ram devotees is about to be fulfilled and after years of controversy, Ram Lalla is now going to be enshrined in his grand temple in Ayodhya.

“After Makar Sankranti, on any date between January 16 and 24, 2024, Ramlala’s idol will be consecrated in the temple sanctum sanctorum,” Rai said. Verbal invitations are being given and formal invitations will be given in November. He said sages of all traditions of the country would be invited in the Pran Pratistha ceremony. Briefing the saints about the progress of the temple construction, he said that the space for the consecration of the grand idol of Ramlala in the sanctum sanctorum has been fully prepared.

He said that eighty percent of the work on the roof of the first floor of the two-storied temple has been completed. Rai said that along with the darshan of the devotees in the temple, its construction work will continue and there will be no hindrance. Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad President Mahant Ravindra Puri said that Lord Shri Ram has given the responsibility of building his temple to Champat Rai and we believe that only by seeing him (Champat Rai) the saints get the darshan of Lord Ram.

He said that all saints and people who believe in Ram should participate in the abhishekam of the idol and inauguration of the temple in the grand Ram temple being built in Ayodhya. Mahant Puri expressed the hope that after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Narendra Modi will once again become the Prime Minister and India will continue on the path of development.
