Anil Kumble said on Jio Cinema, ‘Rajat is now an international player. It was important for RCB that the middle order played well as Virat Kohli was alone in it and then Faf du Plessis in the powerplay scored some runs early in the innings. They needed a strong player. Patidars have been really solid for him. He came in and dominated the opposition bowlers, we have seen that in the last three-four matches. He is doing exceptionally well and I think his partnership with Virat Kohli has inspired him to think about 240.
About Virat Kohli, Kumble said, ‘He is in great form. He had a break before coming into this IPL and since then he has been constantly in search of his best form. You can see this. He tops the scoring table with 634 runs, and I’m sure for RCB, you want him to win the next two matches and hopefully qualify for the playoffs. But for India, you want to continue their form in the T20 World Cup as well.
