NEET UG Re-test 2024: 1563 students who secured grace marks in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) result will be re-examined by the National Testing Agency (NTA) tomorrow. The admit card for the re-examination has been released on the official website exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. For those who have not yet downloaded the admit card, let them know that they will not be allowed to enter the exam center without the admit card.

The NEET UG exam is scheduled to be held at seven centers across the country. A senior NTA official told a news website, ‘6 new centers have been allotted for these candidates, while there is only one center in Chandigarh where only one to two students have to appear.’

During the re-examination, all the precautions related to the examination will be taken at the examination centers by senior officials of NTA as well as the Union Ministry of Education, so that no rules are violated.

This year the NEET-UG exam was conducted on 5th May. However, on 4 June, the day of the Lok Sabha elections, the results were declared, with 67 students securing All India Rank 1 and two students securing 718-719 marks. After which protests started taking place across the country regarding the result, which are still going on. At the same time, protests are taking place in several states with allegations of paper leaks and irregularities. Along with this, the Supreme Court of India on Friday refused to stay the counseling of NEET-UG, which was scheduled to begin on July 6. The SC will now hear the petitions on July 8.
