Gayle and Rohit are the only two batsmen to have hit more than 100 sixes in a World Cup together. Third in the list is Australia’s David Warner who has hit a total of 81 sixes between 2009 and 2024. At number four is Australia’s Glenn Maxwell who has hit 73 sixes between 2012 and 2024.

At number five is South Africa’s AB de Villiers, who has hit a total of 67 sixes between 2007 and 2016. Rohit Sharma is the only Indian in the top-10 in this list while Virat Kohli is at number 12. Virat Kohli has hit 46 sixes between 2011 and 2024. Rohit Sharma hit eight sixes in Team India’s last Super-8 match against Australia and the way he is in form, he can break Gayle’s record.
