The Indian team that won the T20 World Cup 2024 title has returned home today i.e. Thursday, July 4. On 29 June, Team India defeated South Africa by 7 runs in the title match to win the trophy after 17 years. After winning the tournament, the Indian team was stranded in Barbados for several days due to a storm, but today Rohit Sharma and the brigade set foot on their soil via a chartered flight. Team India was given a grand welcome at Delhi’s IGI Airport. Meanwhile, captain Rohit Sharma won the hearts of the fans by presenting the trophy in a special way.

Rohit Sharma came out of the airport after most of the players of the Indian team boarded the bus. As soon as the fans got a glimpse of the captain, there was a huge uproar. Meanwhile, the hitman raised the trophy in the air with his right hand and gave the fans a special look at the trophy. Meanwhile, the atmosphere at the airport was something to behold. The Indian team and support staff arrived at Hotel ITC Maurya in two buses from the airport, where the team was welcomed in grand style. A welcome cake was also kept for the team on which the T20 World Cup trophy was created. This cake was given the colors of Team India’s jersey.
After reaching the hotel, the T20 World Cup trophy was seen in Rishabh Pant’s hand.
After resting for some time in the hotel, the Indian players will have breakfast with PM Modi at 11 am. After this the team will go to Mumbai.
