Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Prabhas’ Salaar were in the news for a long time. Jawaan, which was slated to hit theaters on September 7, had its trailer released yesterday and advanced bookings have started today. On the other hand, the release date of Salaar was 28th September, the advance booking of which has started overseas. But now there is bad news for Salar-Prabhas fans. The release date of Salaar has been shifted.
Salaar may release in January
Prabhas’ Salaar will no longer release on September 28. The release date of the film has been pushed forward. Although no official announcement has been made by the director-actors or the production house yet, the news has spread fast in the cinema world. Some other trade analysts including Taran Adarsh have also confirmed this. It is being said that the film will release in late December or January 2024. But the confirmed news has not surfaced yet.
How has social media reacted?
There is mixed reaction on social media. On one hand the fans of Prabhas and Salaar are saddened by this, on the other hand they are trolling the director and makers for the delay. On the other hand, Prabhas’ fans are also supportive and saying that good content takes time. Apart from all this, Shah Rukh Khan fans are very happy as now there is no big film releasing in September, so at least Jawan can collect well for the entire month.
