New Delhi. These days Rajkumar Rao is seen in the movie ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ with Janhvi Kapoor. The actor’s performance in the film has been highly appreciated. During the promotions of the film, the couple participated in ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ streaming on Netflix. During a conversation with Kapil Sharma, Rajkumar Rao recalled his early days in the industry. He said he has no work for 2 years.
According to the actor, the hardest thing for him was to get an opportunity in his first film and it took him 2 years to get work in his first film. The actor said on the show, ‘The hardest thing for me was getting an opportunity in my first film. It took me 2 years. I used to go in search of work everyday. I had no other option because I just wanted to act.
The actor was a victim of the scam
The actor further said that he too fell victim to a scam while looking for work. He was cheated of Rs 10,000 in the name of getting a break in the TV industry. A company took 10 thousand rupees to give him a break and then that company closed down overnight. Rajkumar Rao said that his mother borrowed money from someone to fulfill her dream and all that money was lost.
