Shah Rukh Khan did this film for free, Kamal Haasan said- superstars don’t do this

Directed by Nag Ashwin, the mega budget film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is all set to hit the theaters on June 27. The film will have Prabhas in the lead role and besides Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan will be seen in important roles. While on the one hand the audience will see Kamal Haasan in a completely different avatar in ‘Kalki’, on the other hand the trailer of his upcoming film ‘Indian 2’ has also been released. When Kamal Haasan was asked about stardom at the trailer launch of the film, he said that when the actors work together, they don’t see each other as superstars.

Responding to the media, Kamal Haasan said, “When we work together, we are ordinary people. I don’t see a superstar in me, neither does he see a superstar in me. We don’t think we are friends.” Taking the matter further, he said that Shahrukh Khan did a film for him for free and no superstar can ever do such things, you have to be more than him.

Kamal Haasan said, “Let me tell you a fact that Shah Rukh Sahib did a film for me for free. What can be more beautiful than that? No superstar can do this. It can only be done by a friend. So we never thought of that. That you guys give us the title, and let’s accept it.”
