Talking to a Pakistani news channel, Shahid Afridi said, “I will never let Azam Khan come close to the team on fitness.”

He also said, “I admire him too. He is strong and powerful; his batting is tremendous. As far as ‘keeping’ is concerned, he carries the ball in English conditions. But when you go to the West Indies, That’s when he bowls. Don’t get too high there, he stays down… so you have to keep your body down.”
