Asian Market: Asian markets fell today against inflation figures. Japan’s Nikkei 225 fell 0.19 percent, while the Topix rose 0.24 percent. The Japanese yen fell 0.1 percent to 159.91. South Korea’s Kospi fell 0.39 percent. Kosdek weakened by 0.54 percent.

Gift Nifty: GIFT Nifty was trading at 23,395, down nearly 80 points from the previous close of Nifty futures. This does not bode well for Indian stock market indices.
Wall Street: The US stock market was mostly lower on Friday due to a sell-off in tech stocks. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 15.57 points, or 0.04 percent, to 39,150.33, while the S&P 500 lost 8.55 points, or 0.16 percent, to 5,464.62. The Nasdaq Composite was down 32.23 points, or 0.18 percent, at 17,689.36.
