New Delhi: Veteran Bollywood actor and Lok Sabha MP Shatrughan Sinha has been admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital, where he underwent a minor surgery. The senior actor had a very busy schedule due to election campaigns and his daughter Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding. A source told IANS that when Sonakshi went to the hospital with her husband Zaheer Iqbal, there were speculations that she was pregnant. However, the source informed that the actress went to the hospital to meet her father.
There is no word on when Shatrughan Sinha will be released from the hospital, but it is being said that the actor’s condition is currently stable and he is under the care of doctors. After the double celebration of Shatrughan’s Lok Sabha win and Sonakshi’s wedding, it’s a bit of a troubling moment for the Sinha family.
Sonakshi-Zaheer got married after dating for 7 years
Shatrughan recently won the Lok Sabha elections from West Bengal’s Asansol constituency, after which he thanked the people there. The actor won by a margin of 59,564 votes against BJP candidate Surendrajit Singh Ahluwalia. Meanwhile, Sonakshi and Zaheer got married on June 23 in Mumbai after dating for seven years.
Debuted with Salman Khan
Sonakshi-Zaheer met for the first time at a party hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. Interestingly, both Sonakshi and Zaheer started their careers with Salman. Sonakshi debuted with Salman in the box-office hit ‘Dabangg’, while Zaheer debuted with Salman Khan’s home production ‘Notebook’. As for Shatrughan Sinha, after a successful career in Bollywood, he turned to politics. They are successful here too.
