Apart from this, Smriti Mandhana also batted brilliantly in the first innings for India and managed to score 149 runs. The two shared a total of 292 runs for the first wicket. The 292-run partnership between Mandhana and Shefali is the record for the highest opening partnership in women’s Test cricket.
