Mumbai. The powerful trailer of the web series ‘Showtime’ has been released. The series has strong actors like Emraan Hashmi, Mouni Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Vijay Raaz and Naseeruddin Shah. There is a lot of suspense and drama in the trailer. In the show, Emraan plays the role of Raghu Khanna, a producer. While Rajeev Khandelwal and Mouni Roy are actors. Both are making all kinds of efforts for their comeback, but are not succeeding. The fight between Vijay Raaz and Emraan Hashmi’s characters is worth watching.
‘Showtime’ shows the bitter truth of the film world. In the trailer, Vijay Raaz and Emraan Hashmi are seen overshadowing all the other actors. The series will air on Disney Plus Hotstar on July 12. Emraan said about the series, “Like anywhere else, the industry has its ups and downs, but once you understand the reality of it, you stay here.”
Emraan Hashmi said, “Raghu Khanna is Karan Johar’s version and his passion and drive to take on any challenge always reminds me of Karan. Sometimes I wonder what would have been the fate of the industry if there was a producer like Raghu Khanna? In my career of so many years I have never seen a producer like Raghu.
Emraan Hashmi further said, “The current generation of producers are working on the whims and preferences of actors, but Raghu’s character is quite the opposite.” While, Mouni Roy said, “Yasmin’s character tries to show what happens to actresses in the industry, who take a stand for themselves despite being trolled by fans and the industry. “While this trolling doesn’t define who we are as artists, we live for the love of our audience and that’s why this negative energy affects us.”
