New Delhi. The BCCI on Monday announced the 15-member Indian squad for the Zimbabwe tour. Shubman Gill will captain Team India in this tour. A 5-match T20 series will be played between India and Zimbabwe. The first T20 match of the series will be played in Harare on July 6. Ryan Parag, Abhishek Sharma, Nitish Kumar and Tusshar Deshpande have got a chance in the team for the first time. BCCI has awarded these players for their outstanding performance in IPL 2024.
Fast bowler Mukesh Kumar is the oldest player in the Indian squad selected for the Zimbabwe tour. Yashaswi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Rinku Singh, Sanju Samson, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi and captains Shubman Gill and Dhruv Jurrell are among the experienced players in this team. Jurel made his Test debut earlier in the year.
India vs Zimbabwe T20 Schedule
The Indian team’s tour of Zimbabwe will begin on July 6. The two teams will face each other in the first T20 in Harare on this day. The second T20 will be played in Harare on July 7. The third match will be played on 10th, the fourth on 13th while the fifth and final T20 match will be played on 14th July. All matches will be played in Harare.
