Singer Palash Sen gets angry at trolls, says- I am a Hindu, bear with me, understand…

Palash Sen, singer of rock pop band Euphoria, posted on his Instagram account. With this post, the singer has hit back at trolls who trolled the singer for her political bias a few days back. He captioned his post that few days ago people abused me and called me good and bad because of my political bias. I did not choose to abuse those people because they have prejudice and my faith teaches me to tolerate.

Palash replied to the trolls

Palash Sen has responded to the trolls by writing his thoughts in 10 slides on his Instagram. He wrote in the first slide – I am a Hindu. I was born in the great land of the world. I did not choose to be a Hindu and I know that being a Hindu means I have no organized religion. This is my belief, this is my way of life, passed down from my ancestors for generations. I am told that Hindus follow Sanatan Dharma which means eternal faith.

‘…that’s all it takes to be a Hindu’

In his next slide, he has said that he was not taught to discriminate against anyone on the basis of religion, caste or even political affiliation. I know only tolerance and love. He further wrote that he was not perfect, but he was never taught to be partial on the basis of religion. I am just trying to do my job and be a responsible citizen of society. He wrote, “Country comes first. Above all else, this is what it means to be a Hindu.”

Expressed gratitude for the love received from the country

Targeting the trolls, he wrote that my elders taught me the true roots of gratitude. And I am grateful for the gift my country has given me. Especially the love everyone has given me without asking my caste or religion.

Answered the detractors

He also wrote in his post that this is a message to all those who fail to see who and what I am and try to defame me and my country with their tired narratives. He wrote that it will not be possible for you. He said I don’t need to go to a temple, church, mosque or gurudwara to show my faith, Palashe wrote in his last slide, “I am a Hindu… I know how to tolerate, understand and forgive!!!”
