Smriti Mandhana-Shefali Verma played a band for South African bowlers, both scored centuries

Indian women’s star batsmen Smriti Mandhana and Shefavi Verma scored centuries in the one-off Test against South Africa on Friday. Shefali Verma and Smriti Mandhana completed their respective centuries in a few balls. At one point it looked like Mandhana would complete the century first but Shefali completed the first century with a quick shot. Shefali Verma scored a century in 113 balls with the help of 15 fours and two sixes. This is the first century of Shefali’s Test career. On the other hand, Smriti Mandhana completed her century in 122 balls. Mandhana hit 19 fours in his innings.

This is Smriti Mandhana’s third century in the last four internationals. Before this, he scored two centuries during the ODI series against South Africa.
