New Delhi: So far 49 people have died in the fire in Kuwait. A fire broke out in a multi-storey building in Kuwait’s Mangaf area at 4 am on Wednesday. The flame of this fire was so fierce that it created a commotion in India as well. Among those killed in the fire in Kuwait are 40-42 Indians. The rest are said to be Pakistani and Nepalese nationals. It is being said that most of the dead are from Kerala. Gradually the dead bodies are being identified. The list of dead people is out. Some were drivers, some were engineers and some were labourers.

The Modi government has sent its Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan to Kuwait. Some of the people who died in the fire in Kuwait have been identified. 2. Amaruddin Shamir (33 years): He hailed from Kollam Poyapalli and was a driver in Kuwait.
3. Stephen Abraham Sabu (29): He was an engineer by profession and a resident of Kottayam.
4. KR Ranjit (34): He lived in Kuwait for 10 years and was a store keeper.
5. Kelu Ponnamaleri (55): He was a production engineer and resided in Kasaragod. He has two sons.
6. PV Muralitharan lived in Kuwait for the last 30 years. He was a senior supervisor in a company there.
7. Sajan George was a chemical engineer in Kuwait.
8. Lukose (48) was working in Kuwait for the past 18 years.
9. Saju Varghese (56) was a resident of Konni.
10. Thomas Omen was from Tiruvala.
11. Vishwas Krishnan was a resident of Kannur.
12. Noah was from Mallapuram.
13. MP Bahulayan was also from Mallapuram.
14. Srihari Pradeep was from Kottayam.
