South African team in controversy ahead of T20 World Cup, only 1 black player got a chance

Johannesburg The South African team selected for the ICC T20 World Cup has been mired in controversies. Cricket South Africa (CSA) has been criticized for including only one black African player in the squad in the form of Kagiso Rabada. Six black players, including Rabada, were included in South Africa’s 15-man potential squad.

The CSA aims to bring about change by having six black players in South Africa’s playing XI during a season. But there is only one black African in Rabada in the squad selected for the T20 World Cup. The CSA has been criticized for not meeting its targets.
