Tier-1 exam will be conducted in June-July 2024. The timing of Tier-2 will be announced later.
If we talk about the selection process, the first will be the Tier-1 (Computer Based Exam) exam. Candidates who clear this will be called for Tier-II (Computer Based Examination). The Tier-I paper will have 4 sections each containing 25 questions from different topics. All questions will be objective type multiple choice. The subjects include English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skills) and General Awareness. The examination will consist of objective type multiple choice questions with negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates will be given a total time of 60 minutes to write the Tier-1 paper. Candidates who clear Tier-1 will be called for Tier-2.

Tier-2 will have two sessions with first session being written test and second being skill test/typing test (as per post).

If the exam is conducted in multiple shifts, the marks will be normalized. The result will be declared on the basis of general marks only.

Negative Marking- There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in SSC CHSL exam.
