SSC CHSL: 8.49 lakh youth from UP and Bihar will take the CHSL exam from July 1, filling 3712 posts.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL-2024) examination will be conducted from July 1 to 11. For this, the commission has released the admit card on Friday. The exam will be conducted at 79 centers in 19 districts of UP and Bihar. 8,49,814 candidates have registered for the exam. The first shift will run from 9 to 10 am, the second shift from 11.45 to 12.45 pm, the third shift from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm and the fourth shift from 5.15 pm to 6.15 pm. 5,75,040 candidates have registered at 52 centers of UP and 2,74,774 candidates have registered at 27 centers of Bihar in the examination conducted for recruitment to 3712 posts. At the same time, 1,63,633 candidates have registered at 16 centers in Patna, Bihar, 21,892 at two centers in Bhagalpur, 41,212 at four centers in Muzaffarpur and 22,737 at two centers in Purna. Apart from this 8172 candidates are registered at one center in Arah and 8956 candidates are registered at one center in Guyana.

3712 vacancies will be filled under SSC CHSL Recruitment 2024. First of all, there will be Tier-1 (Computer Based Exam) exam. Candidates who clear this will be called for Tier-II (Computer Based Examination). The Tier-1 paper will have 4 sections each containing 25 questions from different topics. All questions will be objective type multiple choice. The subjects include English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skills) and General Awareness. The examination will consist of objective type multiple choice questions with negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates will be given a total time of 60 minutes to write the Tier-1 paper.

Candidates who clear Tier-1 will be called for Tier-2. Tier-2 will have two sessions with first session being written test and second being skill test/typing test (as per post). Negative Marking- There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in SSC CHSL exam.

Applications till 31st for 8326 posts of SSC MTS
Patna. SSC has released notification for MTS Exam. Registration for 8,326 Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) has started. You can apply for SSC MTS 2024 till 31st July 11 PM. The exam for 4,887 MTS and 3,439 Havildar posts in MTS will be held in October-November. Candidates should have passed class 10 or its equivalent examination from a recognized board. To apply, applicants have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Last date for payment of fee is 1 August.
