SSC GD Constable Vacancy: Before the announcement of SSC GD Constable Result, there is good news for the candidates. The vacancy of SSC GD Constable has almost doubled before the announcement of the results of the written exam conducted in the month of February-March. 20,471 vacancies have been increased in SSC GD Recruitment. Now the number of SSC GD Constable vacancies has increased from 26,146 to 46617. After the release of the updated vacancy, now the result (SSC GD Constable Result) can be released anytime. Now BSF 12076, CISF 13632, CRPF 9410, SSB 1926, ITBP 6287, Assam Rifles 2990 and SSF 296 will be recruited. Earlier BSF had 6174, CISF 11025, CRPF 3337, SSB 635, ITBP 3189, Assam Rifles 1490, SSF 296.
The updated vacancies have a total of 41467 posts for males and a total of 5150 posts for females. 17365 posts for men and 2231 posts for women are unreserved. Among males 6032 posts are reserved for SC, 4318 ST, 8712 OBC, 5040 posts for EWS category. While among women, 764 posts are reserved for SC, 476 for ST, 1087 for OBC, 592 for EWS.
Earlier SSC GD Constable Recruitment Exam Answer Key has been released. Time was given from April 3 to April 10 to file objections on the answer key. The answer key was supposed to be released a few days ago but SSC re-conducted the exam on March 30 at some exam centers. Due to which the declaration of answer key was delayed. Before March 30, SSC GD Constable Exam 2024 Tier-1 Exam was conducted on February 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 1, 5, 7.
46,47,646 candidates from across the country applied for the recruitment of 26,146 posts of SSC GD Constable. 15,20,063 candidates were to appear in the SSC GD Constable exam in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. 11,18,823 candidates were registered in UP and 4,01,240 candidates were registered in Bihar.
Candidates who qualify the written test will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PST). PET PST Clearers will be called for Medical and Document Verification. The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written examination. PET PST will be only qualifying. Only passing PET and PST will be required.
