SSC MTS & Havildar 8,326 Posts: Staff Selection Commission, SSC released the official notification for Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff & Havildar (CBIC & CBN) Exam (SSC MTS 2024) on 27th June.
As per the notification, the recruitment exam will be conducted to fill a total of 8,326 vacancies. The last date to apply for the exam is 31 July 2024 and the last date to submit the application fee is 1 August 2024.
Know- in how many languages will the exam be taken?
Let us tell you that 8326 recruitment will take place under MTS-2024 of SSC. There are 4887 vacancies for multi-tasking staff and 3439 vacancies for Havildar posts in CBIC and CBN. Apart from Hindi and English, the question paper will also be in 13 regional languages. Candidates have to pre-opt to appear in regional languages Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
The selection process for both the posts will be conducted in several stages. It will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST). PET and PST are only for the post of Havildar. Let us tell you that CBE will have two sessions and attempt in both sessions will be compulsory. Candidates will be disqualified for not attempting any session.
The computer based exam consists of two parts – Tier 1 and Tier 2. The commission has not announced the SSC MTS Tier 1 exam date yet. Let us tell you that the window for making corrections in the application form will be from August 16 to August 17, 2024. While the official date of SSC MTS Tier 1 exam will be announced soon. Talking about the possible date, this exam will be held in October or November 2024.
SSC MTS Hawaldar Posts: How to Apply for Recruitment
You have to go to SSC official website ssc.gov.in. There you have to click on the online application link available on the home page. New users have to register themselves. After which they will get registration number and password. Which will be sent to the email or phone number provided by the applicant. After this candidates can start filling the application form and now submit the required documents. Now pay the application fee and submit the form. After paying and submitting the fee, download the confirmation page and form and don’t forget to take a printout for future reference.
