SSC Recruitment 2024: One lakh applications less in Delhi Police, BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP recruitment this year

The Central Staff Selection Commission’s recruitment has received one lakh less applications than last year. This time, 7 lakh 34,157 candidates from across the country have applied for Sub-Inspector (SI) and CISF Recruitment Exam 2024 for Sub-Inspector (SI) and CISF Recruitment Exam 2024 in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (SSC, BSF, CRPF, ITBP and SSB). SSC has invited applications for the recruitment of 4001 posts till March 31. There will be more competition especially in the OBC category. In this, the number of applicants is about three and a half lakh. The first phase of its computer-based examination was proposed between May 9 and 13.

But now this exam will be held between 27th to 29th June due to Lok Sabha elections.

Surprisingly, despite the increase in the number of posts, the number of candidates has decreased. 8,27,602 candidates applied online for the recruitment 2023. The number of seats was also less. Applications were invited for 1876 posts, but final selection was made for 1601 posts. 7.50 lakh candidates applied for the recruitment of 4300 posts in 2022.

Paper-II:

English Language and Comprehension-200 Questions, 200 Marks, 2 Hours
12.2 Questions in both the papers will be of multiple choice.
Questions from Part-I, II and III of Paper-1 will be set in Hindi and English.
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
