Steal goats before Bakrid! 6 rupees worth 2 lakhs were lost

A shocking case has come to light in Delhi. In fact, the Delhi Police received a PCR call of goat theft in North-West Delhi area at around 10.25 am on Monday. According to the police, 6 goats were stolen from this person’s house. Their price is said to be around 2 lakh rupees.

Six goats worth over ₹2 lakh were stolen from a house in Wazirabad, leaving the owners at a loss as to how to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha next week. In the CCTV footage of the incident, three masked men were seen entering the vacant plot on Monday morning and running away with the goats. An FIR has been registered at Wazirabad Police Station under Section 379 (Theft) of IPC.

Saqib, a medical representative and owner of the two stolen goats, said, “I somehow managed to raise money to buy goats for Bakrid. “I don’t know how we will celebrate the festival now because I have no money left to buy more goats.”

“I think there is little chance of the sacrificial animals being recovered,” said Rasikh, who also owned some of the stolen goats.
