Students are protesting after the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) exam results. While on one hand 67 students have secured 720 out of 720 marks in this exam this year, on the other hand 718, 719 marks are given out of 720 marks, there is a fear of malpractice in the result. Let us tell you that the Left-affiliated Vidyarthi Sangh staged a protest near the Education Ministry in New Delhi on Monday, demanding an inquiry into the alleged malpractices in the NEET exam results.
The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the NEET exam, said on Saturday that the education ministry has constituted a four-member panel to review the grace marks awarded to over 1,500 candidates in the exam. The petition alleged massive irregularities in the NEET results and sought an order to conduct the entrance exam afresh.
