Stock market highlights: Sensex surges 2000 points in four sessions as stock market bullish streak continues.

Domestic stock markets have witnessed a stormy rally since the last four trading sessions. Nifty crossed the 24,000 mark for the first time during this period. At the same time, the Sensex also crossed 79,000 to create a new all-time high. In these four days, investors have made a huge profit of around 4 lakh crore rupees.

Sensex crossed the 78,000 mark for the first time on June 25 this week. It took only two trading sessions to reach the 79,000 level on June 27. At the same time, the BSE benchmark gained 2,033.28 points or 2.63 percent in the last four trading days. At the same time, the Nifty touched the 23,000-point level for the first time on May 24 this year. It took only 24 trading sessions to cross 24000.

Also a new record in market cap

Due to this strong rally in the market, the market capitalization of the companies listed on BSE also increased by Rs. 438.41 lakh crore (US$ 5.25 trillion) has reached an all-time high. In four trading sessions, investors’ assets rose to Rs. 3.93 lakh crore has increased. At the same time, investors in Thursday’s trading session traded Rs. 1.4 lakh crore was earned.

A huge jump in these shares

Shares of leading cement maker Ultratech Cement, included in the Sensex group, rose more than five percent. Earlier, the company had said it will invest in its Chennai-based rival India Cements Ltd for around Rs. 1,885 crore will buy 23 percent stake. Apart from Infosys, Reliance and TCS, shares of NTPC, JSW Steel, Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel, Power Grid, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Tech Mahindra also rose.

Foreign investors bought heavily

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought stocks heavily in June, making a strong comeback after the general election results. Till June 21, it had bought shares worth Rs 12,170 crore. On June 27, he paid Rs. 7,658 crore worth of shares were bought.
